Back to the Future: The Game Episode 1

By admin | February 5, 2011

A short and easy adventure:

Films of the 80 are responsible for many fashion and the trilogy of Back to the Future is responsible for a lot. If you cause a bit of nostalgia to see tire marks with fire and a much modified DeLorean, then these titles will make you happy.

Instead of recreating the events of the movie, Back to the Future: The Game explores new territory and continues with the jumps in time of Marty McFly and Dr. Emmett Brown. It’s About Time is the name of this first episode that begins months after the third film and not all is well in Hill Valley.

The doc has disappeared for months and the city is about to be sold to pay off a debt. Marty is not happy with the sale and is more angry because the inventions of the doc would at the hands of his rival, Biff Tannen. But suddenly, the DeLorean mysteriously appears with a recorded message from the doc, who is trapped in the past.

Marty and Doc are two very strong lead characters, the graphics are very well mixed with the great work of the voice actors. Doc has the voice of Christopher Lloyd, while the other main characters have voices that resemble the originals.

Hill Valley is very detailed and has many places to explore, although a little disappointed that not more interactive. When Marty gets into the buildings, the view is maintained from the street and start a conversation in the building, as you return to the street ends. Only there are some shops where you can come and interact more.

Marty can control using the keyboard and there is an option that lets you control the mouse. Both controls work very well, even that area sometimes change the camera angles show some very uncomfortable.

A great story, characters very nice and a stellar presentation are the best points of this game. It’s About Time is surprisingly very light in terms of challenge and content. You must follow the clues in the story and interact with some objects on that page. Most of the puzzles that you find are interesting and thoughtful.

The puzzles can be very easy but I enjoyed solving them, if you get stuck, you can use the system runs out of the predicament. Despite the lack of difficulty, the first episode of Back to the Future: The Game will keep very closely the few hours it lasts. This series of events is very promising and we are very anxious to see that we offer the second half.
