SCEA Announces Further Online PS2 Information

In what could certainly be deemed as positive news, SCEA recently announced that their Network Adaptor will be released on US shelves in approximately August of this year. The highly anticipated peripheral will retail , and allow for online play as a result.
For the specification gurus, the Adaptor will utilize a 10/100Ethernet connection with a 56KV.90 analog modem. The peripheral will plug directly into the back of the PlayStation 2 console, enabling gamers to venture into the realms of the world wide web. Micro-Machine to hit PS2

Micro Machines is finally set to make its next-gen debut with news that Infogrames are to publish a new version of the game for PS2 and Xbox.
The top-down racing series has in the past offered some of the best cartoon-style driving across everything from MegaDrive to PSone to Game Boy. The most recent outing was the disappointing Micro Maniacs, in which Codemasters foolishly replaced cars with people.
